The wild bilberry -
a special kind of berry
Wild Nordic bilberries contain a density of polyphenols that would take a handful of supplements to match. And they taste incredible.
Seeds, skin, flesh, all crushed together. The fibre, the anthocyanins, the bioactive compounds. Nothing removed. The way the berry grew it
Short summers and poor soil force a berry to defend itself, and it does that chemically. In bilberry the main defense is anthocyanin, the pigment that makes it dark. A wild bilberry carries roughly four times more of it than a cultivated blueberry, and anthocyanins are among the most studied compounds in food for memory, circulation and the aging brain.
No blending, no mixing, no prep. And no fridge needed until you open it. Throw one in your bag and drink it whenever.
Sourcing natures treasures since 1910
Harvest
Every season, wild bilberries are hand-picked from Nordic forests. Growing exactly where nature put them, they are untouched by farming or cultivation.
Crush
The whole berry goes in: skin, seeds, and flesh together. Nothing extracted, nothing stripped. This is Roberts unique way of preserving precious nutrients. Every part of what the forest grew.

Healthy shouldn't taste this good
The thing that stands out the most is the flavor. And sometimes it's hard to believe that something that's actually quite good for you can taste that good.
— Adam Poole, England, verified customerBerries the UK simply doesn't grow
For me, the big plus is being able to try berries I wouldn't normally be able to procure in the UK — lingonberries, bilberries. They don't grow locally here.
— Andrew Evans, United Kingdom, verified customerNot available anywhere in the United States
The reality is it's not something that's available here in the United States that is available through Roberts Berrie. They were an exceptional opportunity to gain access to a nutritional resource that I don't have here.
— Michael, United States, verified customerFrom Finland, and impossible to stop buying
They bring a product that is high value due to the fact that they are from Finland, the perfect environment for the growth of bilberries. It's unforgettable and also impossible to stop buying.
— Chiara Molinari, Italy, verified customerA cup every morning, at 73
I'm 73 years young. I use a cup every morning. I feel a lot better and have a lot of energy. Just give it a try. You won't regret it.
— Marja Mulder, Netherlands, verified customerEven the five-year-old asks for it
My little son, he's five, he loves it in the morning and I'm happy because he then already has a really good start in the day.

116 years of family run business.
Six generations of one family, and a factory in Southwest Finland. Roberts began in Örebro in 1910 supplying flavour extracts, and moved across to Finland five years later. Berries came in the 1970s, and by the turn of the millennium we were the country's largest private-label jam maker. That is a business where cheap price matters more than what goes in the jar, so we went looking for something of our own, something we could be proud of. Roberts Berrie was launched in 2010.

As much whole wild berry as we can fit. Take the wild bilberry Berrie, for example: a 100 ml cup contains 40% whole crushed wild bilberry — around 139 berries. The rest: 10% bilberry juice, apple to balance the acidity, lemon juice, citrus fiber, and potassium sorbate as a preservative.
Not at all. Juice removes the fibre, skin, and seeds — everything that carries the polyphenols and anthocyanins. We crush the whole berry and leave everything in.
Yes, potassium sorbate — and it's the product's only additive. It's one of the most widely approved preservatives, and the sorbic acid it's based on occurs naturally in things like rowanberries. Without it, a cup wouldn't last for months at room temperature.
No extra white sugar is added in the process of production. The sweetness comes from the berry and fruit: it contains sweetening apple extract, which balances the berries acidity.
Not unopened. The package keeps at room temperature until the best-before date, roughly 6 months from production. After opening, refrigerate: a cup is best drunk within a few days, while a pouch or bag-in-box stays stabile for at least a month in the fridge.
Not all of them. Bilberry, lingonberry, and cloudberry are wild berries, foraged where they grow naturally in forest. Raspberry, blackcurrant, sea buckthorn, cranberry, and strawberry are berries cultivated. Some of these also grow wild in Finland, but not in quantities large enough to build a year-round product on.
Yes. All Berries are plant-based, and none of the products contain any animal-derived ingredients.
