Why is Berrie not juice?
People often think Berrie is juice. However, that’s not the case. Juice is made either from concentrate or by pressing the juice of the berry/fruit and adding water. This leaves out some integral parts of berries, namely the skin and seeds. Berrie products are made from whole berries by crushing them and adding water so that the skin and seeds are kept.
The recommended quantity of berries to eat daily is at least two decilitres, including the skin and seeds. Each Berrie container has a handful of berries, and that’s why Berrie is the best alternative to fresh berries. Berrie is also your best source of polyphenols. The skin and seeds contain the most polyphenols, the strong antioxidants of berries.
Eating whole berries ensures a steady absorption of sugar and prevents blood sugar spiking.
