Marjaa on niin paljon kuin juomaan mahtuu. Esimerkiksi villimustikka-berrie; Sadan millilitran kupissa on 40 % kokonaisena murskattua villimustikkaa, noin 139 marjaa. Loput: 10 % mustikkamehua, omenaa tasaamaan happoisuutta, sitruunamehua, sitruskuitua ja säilöntäaineena kaliumsorbaattia.
Ei. Suuri osa kaupan mehuista tehdään tiivisteestä: marjasta puristetaan neste, siitä haihdutetaan vesi pois ja se lisätään myöhemmin takaisin. Berriessä marja murskataan kokonaisena ja käytetään sellaisenaan. Mitään ei siivilöidä eikä tiivistetä pois.
Avaamattomana noin 6 kuukautta valmistuksesta huoneenlämmössä. Viileässä säilytettynä maku ja väri pysyvät parhaimmillaan pidempään.
Avattuna kuppi säilyy jääkaapissa noin viisi päivää, pussi ja hanapakkaus vähintään kuukauden, koska hanan kautta juomaan ei pääse ilmaa.
Kyllä, kaliumsorbaatti, ja se on tuotteen ainoa lisäaine. Kyseessä on yksi laajimmin hyväksytyistä säilöntäaineista, ja sen pohjana oleva sorbiinihappo tunnetaan luonnossa esimerkiksi pihlajanmarjasta. Ilman sitä avattu kuppi ei säilyisi avaamattomana huoneenlämmössä kuukausia.
Valkoista sokeria ei lisätä lainkaan. Makeus tulee marjasta ja hedelmästä: mukana on makeuttavaa omenauutetta, joka tasaa marjojen hapokkuutta.
Avaamattomana ei. Pakkaus säilyy huoneenlämmössä parasta ennen -päiväykseen asti, eli noin 6 kuukautta valmistuksesta. Avaamisen jälkeen jääkaappiin: kuppi kannattaa juoda muutaman päivän kuluessa, pussi ja hanapakkaus säilyvät vähintään kuukauden.
Eivät kaikki. Luonnonmarjoja ovat mustikka, puolukka ja lakka, ja ne kerätään sieltä missä ne kasvavat itsestään, metsistä ja soilta. Vadelma, mustaherukka, tyrni, karpalo ja mansikka ovat pohjoisessa viljeltyjä marjoja. Osa niistä kasvaa Suomessa myös luonnonvaraisena, mutta ei sellaisia määriä että niistä voisi tehdä tuotteita ympäri vuoden.
Sopii. Kaikki Berriet ovat kasviperäisiä, eikä missään tuotteessa ole eläinperäisiä ainesosia.
